College Board – AP Students

Ux/UI

The College Board dedicates itself to clearing paths for students regardless of their circumstances. We designed a website to incentivize more students to become interested in computer science and to take the AP Computer Science class.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

Design a responsive webpage for the CollegeBoard’s AP Computer Science class to incentivize student’s to take the class and apply for opportunities that will help them achieve their career goals in the future.

THE SOLUTION

Utilizing the CollegeBoard’s UI library, Apricot, I designed a layout that distilled the content in a way that is both easy to digest and visually pleasing. I designed the layout including color choice and icons, chose the images, and provided feedback to the content team on copy. In the end, my design was able to liven the content and align with brand requirements and business goals.

MAIN PAGE HIGHLIGHTS

The main goals of the page were to incentivize students to be interested in the AP Computer Science course because of the many scholarship and internship opportunities out there. Below are the main experiences that the CollegeBoard promotes within the class that are open to any student interested in Computer Science. These main panel callouts are just one of the many ways that the CollegeBoard seeks to help clear paths to student’s success by educating them on the many opportunities available to them.
