Hi! I’m Maria.
I’m passionate about crafting experiences that are both delightful and equitable, with a strong focus on accessibility and human-centered design. I strive to make design understandable for all, considering not just usability but also the emotions and circumstances of the people engaging with it.
Currently, I’m a Senior UX Designer at JPMorgan Chase, where I design ethical and transparent experiences that help customers understand how card installment features—like Chase Pay Over Time—can support their financial goals. Previously, I worked at Takeoff Technologies, designing B2B grocery order fulfillment solutions, and at Prophet, where I consulted for clients such as The Home Depot and Thrivent, tackling a wide range of design challenges.
I earned a BFA in Electronic Design & Multimedia from the Macaulay Honors College at the City College of New York in 2019 and pursued a minor in UX Design during my time abroad at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences.
Beyond design, you’ll find me strolling through supermarkets admiring beautifully designed packaging, weightlifting, or sketching jazz musicians.
